Pyrex 7740 Annular Edge Glass is no longer available due to Corning's Sunderland plant shutdown. The only replacement is Maxos molded circles, made from superior borosilicate 8488 glass. Maxos offers a uniform 3/4" thickness, enhancing safety compared to Pyrex's 5/8". The molding process ensures outstanding optical clarity and greater thermal shock resistance, with testing to 8 times its rated pressure for maximum user safety.
