Pyrex Annular Edge Glass is no longer available due to the shutdown of Corning's Sunderland plant. The only replacement is Maxos molded circles, made from borosilicate 8488 glass, offering superior quality. Maxos features a uniform 3/4" thickness, compared to Pyrex's 5/8", providing extra safety. The molding process ensures outstanding optical clarity and greater thermal shock resistance. Maxos glass is tested to withstand 8 times its rated pressure, ensuring maximum safety for boiler operators.
