Type B Macbeth Reflex Glass

These high quality gauge glasses are for use in armored-type gauge assemblies for observation of high temperature and high pressure liquid levels. Safety and quality starts with the use of special quality borosilicate glass that is manufactured under carefully controlled conditions. The glass is tempered to provide high strength and has a low degree of thermal expansion to resist thermal shock.

• Type B - Reflex Glass is made for ease in determining liquid levels, especially in clear fluids. The glass has vertical prisms extending the full viewing length of the glass. The prism side faces the liquid, and the sections of the prisms not covered in liquid reflect light brilliantly. The
  sections covered by liquids appear dark in contrast.
